Study Biomechanics
Understanding how you step is the first step to knowing what's wrong with you.
Many foot, knee, hip or back pains have their origin in the way we walk. The biomechanical study analyses in detail the footprint and movement to identify alterations that, without treatment, end up causing injuries.
It's not just about putting in some templates. It is about understand what is happening and why.
What is the study
Interview
We start by listening. Medical history, previous injuries, physical activity, usual footwear. Everything counts.
Dynamic study of the footprint
By means of a pressure platform we analyse how the loads of the body are redistributed on the moving foot.
Postural analysis
Global exploration of posture and the muscular tensions that are generated.
Biomechanical analysis
We observe and film the patient walking and running. We analyse the leg axes, angulation axes, pelvis and back to detect imbalances that could lead to injuries.
All in all, if disturbances are detected, an individualised plantar support is designed to correct them.
Pathologies which deals with
- Flat feet
- Pes cavus
- Plantar fasciitis
- Calcaneal spur.
- Metatarsalgia
- Morton's neuroma
- Gonarthrosis
- Coxarthrosis
- Tendinitis
- Knee pain
- Chondropathies
- Scoliosis
- Low back pain
- Back pain
- Muscle overloads
Signals that you need it
Your footwear wears unevenly
It may be a sign of an imbalance in your stride. We help you understand what's going on.
You have chronic knee, hip or sole pain
The origin may lie in the way you step. A biomechanical study can give you the answer.
Injuries recur with no clear cause
Without treating the source, the pain returns. A biomechanical study identifies the root of the problem.
